How AI Tools Like Cursor Are Bridging Product, Design, and Development: A Hands-On Article
Why AI Will Blur the Lines Between Product, Design, and Development, and What It Means for the Future of Product Management
I am excited, and I’m here to share. The product management world (execution part) will change tremendously, using the new tools AI is enabling.
My premonition: Product and developers (maybe also design) are going to become one job, and the king is going to be the one that can create detailed, nonfluffy specifications. This change is going to happen in the next few years.
Today, I’m going to write about my hands-on experience with Cursor AI, creating a full MVP (client side only) of a requirement from my backlog.
There are two main benefits that I currently see:
1- Accelerated Prototyping: AI can generate quick prototypes based on input from team members, reducing the time it takes to visualize and iterate on new ideas.
2 — Enhanced Collaboration: Imagine that the old Meme about developing
is no longer valid, as everyone is working on the same space — requirement, design, and developers, and there is no need for interpretations.
